Pine Sap Removal Tips ?
These questions are for the highly-experienced detailers out there:
What's the best way (and best product) to remove semi-dried pine sap from my S-Type's hood? Is there less risk of damage if I allow the pine sap to dry thoroughly before attempting to remove it? Thanks.... |
Use a claybar after saturating it with some detail spray as a lubricant. $13 on Amazon!

Better yet, I used plain ol' isopropyl rubbing alcohol and an old cotton rag. Saturate a corner of the rag, rub gently, repeat until all traces of pine sap are gone, then wash the area with plain water and buff dry. Cost me just a few pennies and the area looks perfect again....
