Surf City Garage Barrier Reef Spray Wax
Just washed and waxed my 95 XJ6 tonight after work using Surf City Garage Barrier Reef Spray Wax and I'm pleased with the results. The wax was easily applied and removed and the paint is smooth and glossy. We'll see how long the appearance and protection lasts. First time with the product.
Well it's been 3 weeks of virtually non-stop thunderstorms and the wax is still beading water fiercely. I mean heavy rain. My yard has never looked greener (see signature pic taken a week or so ago during a respite - even then sprinkling). I may have found my go-to wax.
I tried Surf City spray detailer to get off the road dust and it is awsome
and it does contain Brazillin carnuba in it.
I then followed with Barrier Reef spray wax from Surf City,
Was I impressed? You bet.
I bought 18 detailer and 18 barrier Reef wax.
Best suff going.

I use Surf City Carnauba Paste Wax and apply it by hand. It's very easy to apply...can cover the entire car in 15 minutes. I let it dry for an hour or so and it polishes off without any effort. The resulting shine is amazing. Of course I clay, clean and seal the paint first.
I tried Griot's "Best in Show" wax last week for a change of pace. What a pain in the pitooty to get off! Back to Surf City...
I've used Surf City wheel cleaner also with great results. However, I think Eagle does just about as good a job at close to half the price.
