E Pace purchase

Hi I am new to this forum. I am thinking of getting a new E Pace. Someone told me that delivery from the factory took ages. Can anyone give me some idea the approximate lead time please. Thanks in advance.

Hi. It depends on where you are. In Australia you have to include the manufacturing time plus the shipping, then it going through the customs and detailing process. I'm not sure how long it all is though it is over 3 months, and with my patience level anything more than 3 weeks is way too long, I'd pretty much have to be sedated to wait 3 months.

What you can do is to call around and see if any dealers have one on order in the spec you want, and if you are lucky there will be one just right already landed or on a boat. I managed to get a dealer build like that when I ordered the XE, although it had a few options I didnt want and I had to pay for it to be trucked interstate. All of that said, I got a bit off the price so it still cost the same as I would have paid for my own build without some of the options. But I was still obsessing over it while it was being shipped, tracking it every day from the Panama canal.

I've ordered mine the 27th of January and got the car the 8th of May.
So something like 3,5 months.
While signing the contract the seller wrote the production would take 4 to 5 months but got it earlier.

I just grabbed the super accessorised one of the show room floor... The dealer only had two, the drivable demo and this one. I guess he'll have to wait for a replacement now.

Same here. On February 2nd ordered from the factory in Austria for delivery in the Washington, DC area. Was told that it would be built on April 13th and delivered to the dealer sometime mid-June to mid-July. My wife picked it up May 4th. So, 3-months.
