I believe the originals were black plastic with white pattern indication. Available from SNG Barrett here: SNG Barratt - The Ultimate Jaguar Parts Specialist
My car ('64, 3.8, FHC) has an aftermarket leather knob and I received a wooden one and the original when I bought the car from the original owner way back in 1970. Personal preference, but I like the leather one best. BTW, I have no affiliation at all with SNG, just a satisfied customer for a number of years. Richard |
