Churchill Tools

Is there a source for the referenced Churchill tools other than ebay or drawings that could be used to make one's own?
Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim,
If you're a member of JCNA you can rent the tools for the cost of shipping.
How it works

I think this is them: -

https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/V._L._Churchill_and_Co

As you can see, they eventually became part of SPX Corporation, and still produce special tools for the auto indusrtr.

Here is a site with the current JLR tools that are available. It goes back to the X300 but no earlier

https://jlrequipment.service-solutio...x?catID=321490

I think anything earlier is an eBay search.

Jim the Coventry Foundation services the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) with the tool loan program. Bob S is dead on and we are sure that some folks have measured the tools and made their own after a loan. Unfortunately JCNA is only allowed to loan Factory approved tools in good condition. Reproductions are not allowed by our carrier. The only exception they have made is for a V 12 head puller and we all thank them for this allowance. That said Churchill did not supply all of the tools then or now. The statement that VLC was taken under SPX is true but there was also Britool--Zelenda--OTC--Lucas--Smiths-- and so on. Looking on the current Bosch site one may think they will always sell to individuals--that has not been always accurate and many tools are listed but not available. Should you wish to copy tools that would be fine but these tools were designed and made with no accountants involved. They were built to last for many many applications.

One more comment on the current tools offered by JLR through Bosch---If there is a Legacy number IE-JD 30 then those tools predate the X300 by at times decades.
