OK, if there's going to be a movement toward electric cars? I think having manufacturers retrofit classics with updated powertrains is absolutely the way to go. And for the record, there's not cutting or anything involved with the E-Type Zero, so if you ever wanted to put it back to stock, the option is available. What do you think about this? More pics here.

The complete car is sure pretty, but damned expensive, waiting to see what the kit costs.

Here is a project Zero update article, does talk about the $500K price for the car, doesn't talk about the price for the kit (it has to be under $100K, I'd venture under $50K to make it work given you still need to install it). Interesting to note the kit should work in any car with the Jaguar 6 that'd include D types, 120s, Mark 10s... Might be an interesting way to keep a lot of these cars on the road until the end of this century. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...ws&date=082918

It's cool that it is so versatile... I'd like to see it dropped into an XJ6 too, as it sounds like it'd work?

Yep, or an XJS for that matter. But think the coolest would be in an XK-120...
