Default E-Types request for South East UK Meet Apr/May

Hi All,
Just a very quick post to say that there is an up and coming south east UK meet and currently whilst there is a quite a few of the post 1994 models of Jaguar coming along there is no representation of the real classic models such as the E Type... If you might be interested please have a look at UK South East Meet Spring/Summer 2014 in Brighton and if you would like to attend, (along with your car :-)) please sign up in the thread..
So far we have cars from 1984 onwards and it would be great to be able to collect from earlier, through right up to date.. all of us in one place under the JaguarForums.com banner :-)
Many, many thanks for reading this :-)

If you have been thinking about coming along to the meet but are undecided - why not put your name down and come along, join in, and meet everyone?

This is the advert that should be up on the VisitBrighton website later today..

JaguarForums.com Bi-Annual Car Meet

This should be a great day out for any age! A chance to meet Jaguar owners and their cars, learn about the range of Jaguars that are available new, or secondhand, hear the sound of the Jaguar supercar engines, and view these cars closeup. The will be cars there on the day, representing production from 1984 through to 2010.. from a humble 2.5 litre four wheel drive model through to 5 litre supercars..over 25 years of car production by Jaguar. Also, In addition to the meet itself there will also be a convoy down the A23 from Crawley to Brighton for the start of the day arriving approx. 9:30-10:00, before setting up the cars for viewing.

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...ighton-107585/ - It is happening this month.. currently the oldest Jaguar coming to the meet is an XJS - V12 from 1984 I would love for us to be able to extend the range of cars at the meet to before this date - if anyone has a classic Jag or one that predates 1984 and can make the meet - please. please put your name forward

For anyone considering coming along, but unsure whether to or not please come along and join the rest of us.. you know the itinery from further back in the thread.. it is a fantastic chance to put faces (and cars) to names from the forums, to meet everyone in a great location with the sea in front of you, the promenades as the backdrop.. Harwoods Jaguar will be in attendance, we have a great deal on food so you won't go hungry, there will be group photos etc for the forums, I am trying to get us into the local paper with photos, and last but by far the best thing is you will get to see a wide range of Jaguars, different models, engine capacities, and ages all in the one place.. other people there to advise you on any issues you may have with your Jaguar, you may well have tips for other owners.. it is going to be a great day out - a Jaguar sort of TopGear day! And that isn't all - we are also running a convoy down the A23 - a huge block of Jaguars travelling in convoy from Crawley to Brighton.. far enough for a convoy but not so far as to strain any classic Jaguars that may come along.. so if you are undecided please read through the thread, and maybe put your name forward for a great day out!
