Bob is correct for production but ALU tops were available from the competition dept. through normal supply means. The glass tops bring huge money these days and an ALU top would be astronomical.

Original Hardtop

The 1970 roadster project car I have has a hardtop that has been identified as an original top. I’m strictly a soft top guy and don’t want it so will eventually put it up for sale to help fund the restoration . I wondering if I should take the time to refurbish the seals etc and finish it in primer ready for the next owner to match his car or just flip it rough as it is.

John best to leave alone. The headliner material is NLA. Our advise is to purchase the seals and if needed new rear window and present it that way. Best of luck!
