The 3AW is brand new and is the second one I try.
But this keeps getting better ... last night I was fiddling with the bulb socket, I removed the ground that I had temporarily attached and for whatever reason, now the light works with no additional ground. This has never happened before. With the 3AW connected, I tried turning the engine on, but the light remained lit. So, out of curiosity I disconnected the 3AW, thinking that the light would not work without it but sure enough, the light stays on. So the current scenario is this: with or without the 3AW, when I turn the key the light turns on as it should but It stays on also when the engine is running. In short, I have achieved nothing. I am so frustrated, I am on the brink of giving up and leave the damn thing as is.
