Default OEM, Aftermarket or Poly

I'm replacing the trailing arm bushings on my '67 OTS E-type as part of my full restoration. Any recommendations? Are the OEM bushings better than the aftermarket. What about poly bushings?

Can you be a bit more specific, please. Is it radius arms on the rear suspension you're referring to ? One large bush and one small one, and the large end bolts up under the rear of the sill ?

Yes. The small and large bushings in the rear suspension. Some call them radius arms. Moss calls them Trailing arms.

Best stick with OEM. The large bush is meant to provide some flexibility as the geometry is not totally good on the design. That is why it has two voids in it. Look at this photo by SNG Barratt. See the two voids and their position ? That allows the arm to move slightly fore and aft as the suspension works up and down. Jaguar did have this right even if they got a lot of other things wrong !!
