Don't know what this is exactly, but I saw it on the street a few years ago and took a picture. Not too often you see an XKE with something other than spoked wheels.

Many S3 E types came with chromed solid wheels so this is an improvement IMO. Not unusual.

This is not my car but in the shop where my E is being repaired. Everyone has a different opinion about what looks good and I'm sure the owner loves them. It must have been very difficult to fit this wheel onto a w/w hub.

agreed those are super nice.......would have to remove the chrome bumpers in order to make it look right IMO
