Engine cover hydro dipped

Today, I went to visit Wheelpro Scotland...
They're based in Easterhouse just off the M8 Jcntn 9 near Real Radio, and also have branches in the West of Glasgow and Edinburgh. They're going to straighten or ( round out ) my wheels and do a FULL refurb on them, stripping them right back then applying the finish after being reworked, for a very good price!! They also had this in for a customer as they also offer hydro dipping....wow!!! Around £70 - £80 for anyone thats interested. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ine=1396973015 |
Very cool! Hydro dipping is pretty awesome and the patterns you can get are amazing!

That looks very nice! Thanks for sharing sir.

Anyone know if this would hold up in an engine bay?
|
sweet!!! Forum member Richzak and a few others in the XK/XKR section have had this done - believe it is holding up quite well

I've had mine done for show days on a 2nd cover I got on the cheap. Hydro dipped plus an overlay Won't be to everyone's taste but it brightens a rather dreary engine bay. This was taken during the initial laying down an trim of the image before being clear coated |
