X-Type quick facelift questions

I'm going to be picking up a few aesthetic items for the X in the next month and I'm torn between a regular mesh upper grill or the '08 grill with growler. Has anybody done the '08 grill AND removed the leaper off the hood?
Please feel free to post some pics of what you've got, I'd love to see some grill upgrades. Thanks!
