F Pace software update implosion
 

Morning,

im not a techy. And I know I’m screwed with my situation but I need a little help please.
owned a F pace nearly a year
bought from non franchise garage
given a franchise (Honda) extended warranty which is still active
garage now a Susuki franchise so can’t sort it as they aren’t Honda agents anymore.
other garage (new Honda franchise) collected the car and now also can’t sort it as they only have Honda tech in workshop.

the problem
washed the car at the weekend and it wanted to do a software update. Selected “update” locked it up and left it.
about an hour later went to move it and the dash lit up as usual but when pressing the start/stop it just switched off.
also a engine management solenoid was giving it busy behind the glove box with a “whizz and a click” every few seconds.
callled AA. Disconnect battery. Nothing. Swapped the solenoid. Nothing. Applied a battery booster as Battery now reading low power. Nothing.
plugged in to check fault codes and an avalanche of ECU codes came up.
it go towed on Monday with brakes not releasing. Now stuck - sitting in a Non Jaguar Garage.
first question. Are there any hacks for fixing the ECU?
