SOS System Limited Functionality - error
 

Hi all,
After 24hrs of hell following the plugging in of an OBDII diagnostic interface, which flattened and killed my battery, I have replaced the battery and everything seems to be working properly again. on startup, the dash is displaying the error, 'SOS System Limited Functionality'. See attached. Is this an issue and how do I clear it?

This message usually refers to the telematics emergency call system in the car. I believe the system is powered by its own battery system so that it can be used in an emergency if/when the car battery dies. So message is warning that aux battery is low or dead.

Thanks for your reply. I did manage to get rid of it by carrying out a complete reset of the onboard computer. Pain really as I had to re-pair my mobile phone and find all my favorite radio stations
