Went to Cedar Falls Raceway yesterday to see what kind of 1/4 mile times my wife's F-Type would run. I know the car was capable of 11's at ~120mph but I truly expected to have trouble getting out of the low 12's given it's RWD and on street tires. However, first run out of the gate was a 11.69 @ 121mph! I was kind of shocked with that and could have stopped right there. We had lunch and watched some of the other cars. Two Audi S7's were running low 10's and there was a Cadillac CTS-V that ran a 10 flat before breaking. There was also a Ford Raptor that ran a 12.0. I went out for another run and was rewarded with a 11.48@126mph!! This car just keeps delivering. Here's the video:

Very cool! Thanks for posting. I have done the 1/2 Mile Airstrip races, but no 1/4 Mile runs. Will have to do that next spring/summer perhaps. I saw you had a Ford Raptor run a 12~ That is my current project I have two tunes, Cobb AP, Water methanol injection and a TCM tune waiting to install on my Raptor!(Having Cam Phasers replaced at Dealer right now) ... For a big heavy truck....They are fast and fun! I got one for winter to match my F-Type...

That truck surprised me. I lined up next to him on my first run. When I saw him in the staging lane, I figured he was a support vehicle for one of the cars. LOL He ran a 12.2x @114mph on this run:

Haha...Yes, they are fast for huge vehicles....Lots of potential in that Ecoboost Twin Turbo HO...Essentially the same engine as the Ford GT (minus some tuning and beefier internals). I just got mine back with the new Cam Phasers all replaced...I finished up my Water Methanol today and added the Cobb AP with a 93 Octane GooseTuned Map, and a Cobb TCM+ Transmission Tune. Next will be doing datalogging with Winfield at GooseTuned to get it dialed in. Typically these get 520 WHP and 575 WTQ with his tunes...Many guys getting to Stage 2 and/or running E85 or E50 doing 0-60 ~ 4 seconds. Pretty funny to see.
