Default 2019 R Convertible Deal

Looking at a 2019 R convertible with a list price of $114, 359. Dealer is willing to sell it for $107,359. Its the last 2019 R on the lot. Do you think the sale price is fair. Its my understanding that there is at least $7,000 incentive on this vehicle. Thank you for any input.

Since it's last year's model, I should think you could get a new 19R for around $100-103K.

You can get a 2020 for the same price they are quoting you for a 2019...

Thanks for the responses. I know the dealers are getting about $8,000 on these vehicles but the invoice cost of the 2019 is around $107,500. Is there some other money available to the dealer that would allow them to go to $90,000?

Dealers don't actually pay invoice prices due to how manufacturer sales target incentives are structured. More so, it cost them to keep cars on the lot, so the longer it sits, more they lose.

It is quite realistic to pay well-below invoice price. For example, when I purchased my 2016 F-Type S there was $10K JLR rebate and the dealer gave me additional $9K on top of that to close the deal before December 31 as they were trying to reach a sales goal by the end of the calendar year. They lost money on the car sale but it was more than offset by getting JLR incentive on overall sales.
