Here’s a guy with an F-type that at least seems to be having the same issue specifically with an F-type ->

Any wildlife buzzing around inside setting off sensors?
May have something to do with the passenger door handle issue that is being addressed Monday by jaguar. Has a bad motor and being replaced under warranty because it is poping in and out randomly. The alarm issue just started though.
If a door lock is failing wouldn't that just stop the car from locking, not trigger the alarm?

Usually what fails is one of the lock state switches. The BCM looks at the door being closed, then sends the locking signal. It then monitors for the locks being opened or doors being opened without a verified signal from a key. Just a suggestion, it could be any source tripping it, that's why you scan it. It's not going to be a door ajar switch, because you would get a mislock beep and the alarm would not set. But there are 3 microswitches in each door latch, only takes one to give you an issue.
Didn't see this before answering the post under yours, this makes perfect sense then. The lock/unlock is reflected by the door handles. If the motor was bad it just wouldn't move, you have a switch issue where the car thinks it's not locked so it does what it's supposed to do and commands the handle back out. Going to be related for sure, one part should fix both of your issues.

@Jag Bass It is worth pulling off the door card and taking a look at the wiring, connectors, and latching mechanism. Since you were the pioneer who reported the water intrusion issue onto the door speakers, you could also check if there's been any water intrusion to these areas of interest.

The dealer ordered an entire handle assembly to replace the right one. Another member on another thread provided a service writeup for his 23 F-type that was having the exact same issue, that was appaemtly the fix. Odd think is the tech said the computer had reported a short in the acuator motor. They replaced that and everything seemed to be working fine at the shop. Apparently a drive cycle needed to happen before the problem presented again for whatever reason.

They almost never give faults for the latch switches failing, they just act up when locking/unlocking. The handle fault probably set when it was trying to cycle in and out quicker than it should.
