Anyone purchase extended warranty?
Like the title says. I still have about a year left of CPO coverage on my 14 V8S, but was wondering if anyone who's original warranty ran out, has purchased any type of extended warranty? If so, what company did you opt for, why, and what did it set you back price wise?

My warranty runs out in 2020. I'll be looking had at the extended warranties offered through AAA. I had good luck with that strategy on my MINI.

Good luck? How so?

I've been out of warranty for a year and haven't bought any extended coverage for it (or any other car).
Of course, I don't buy life insurance, either. So far, both strategies have worked out well for me. |

Not really the same argument to compare life insurance and an extended warranty. Life insurance benefits the beneficiaries once you are gone but you do not get to benefit from it at all. An extended warranty on a car can benefit you. As mentioned in a previous blog, warranties on Jags in Canada were 4 years and as such my warranty ran out in March 18'. I purchased an extended warranty for 4k which covers bumper to bumper 5 years and 100K. If I never use it, I get 2k back from my premium. Early this year, I had noticed water marks in both my lights. I went to the dealer and they changed them for me free of charge. Job costs 6K because they had to remove and order 2 new front lights. Extended warranties on a honda civic are not worth it, but on a car like this...costly repairs so in my opinion it is fair. My two cents on the matter. As for health insurance, really? You drive an f-type but can't afford 50$ a month of premiums for health insurance?

Name of the warranty co ? thanks |
I am interested in knowing which company as well.

I see you are both from Canada, but insurance companies are usually by province. Paul, I think you can purchase it.
It is called Garantie Nationale, you can reach them at 514-856-1087 / 1-800-363-4567. I bought mine for 3995$ for 5 years but they have lesser plans for 3 years and more customization which may not include everything. Let me know what they say. |

Thanks everyone. Didn't expect such many responses. So I've checked their reviews here:Also asked a friend that had an experience with a similar company and decided to get a minimal coverage plan to check this out. Will keep you updated fellas
