Aquamist lines to tap
Good afternoon gentlemen,
In the process of installing an Aquamist HFS-6. (Big thanks to DC the evil genius, his write up is excellent) it requires tapping 3 signals including the fuel injector (-). Does anybody no where to get that signal from? |

Can you give more info on "what" injector tap they are suggesting? Maybe paste the section to help understand...

I could be reading this wrong...But here is what it looks like to me (I realize it says "Injector"...). I think it needs an ignition (Switched) + power source....A ground - source, and then the controller will be triggered for ow much the pump sprays, by the 0-5 volt signal from the MAP sensor (which you can also get from the MAPT or Accelerator Position Sensor) to determine when and how much to spray.
Now assuming I am totally wrong (and I might be)...It appears to want you to tap these signals directly from the ECU. If so, you need to splice into the ECU wiring and will need to the pinouts for the ECU. I will see if I can find that info? Good luck. I am sure there are smarter folks on here that can steer you better. DC EDIT: I put the ECM etc. Wiring Diagram Here on my drive. |
