Can't believe it wasn't taken

Well, I'm loving this car more and more. I titled and registered it a 11 days ago. I wanted a vanity tag and can't believe I got it!

Especially in Georgia! Yeah baby, yeah!

I couldn't exactly drive that to work, so.....

Don't ever piss someone off in traffic. They'll send a letter to DMV about your 'sexually explicit' plate and how offended they were and then you will also receive a letter .... ask me how I know.

I like it, but you need to swap that S badge for the "British Design Edition" S badge with the union jack in the circle part to complete it. :)

People are too easily offended if they are motivated to actually write a letter and buy a stamp to complain about a film reference. I thought shag was only remotely vulgar* in British-English anyway; in American it is a baseball term?

* and even then it is only about a six on the "ages kids learn naughty words" scale, just after calling your sister a "cow".

Yeah, but you got nothing on this guy! :D
Met him at Cars4Critters in Hershey this past spring. Let's just say he was very much a fan of the movie. The same car was used in the movie.

Seen that plate in PA too

There's a guy who parks at my train station with an older British Racing Green XK that has the same plate registered in Pennsylvania. Kinda cool.

There shag is generally thought of as a dance in the US, so I don't think it will be an issue in Georgia. It's kind of like "bloody", not the same meaning in the US.

Maybe they don't know the meaning of Shag...States usually outlaw naughty words in vanity plates. It reminds me of a Top Gear episode in shot in the US where Clarkson kept saying two and holding up the two finger salute (back of the hand for Americans who don't know) to a police officer.

Here's a pretty good explanation.
Urban Dictionary: shag
I'd be surprised if 1 in 5 people in Georgia would get the sexual reference. For those who do get it, it's because they've seen a movie as it's just not used in conversation.

With a username like porndexter, I think he (or she) knows the meaning of shag.
