Default Center console - sticky repair

I think I am the only person with an F-type that has used StickyRX to repair their sticky parts. They mostly do Ferrari and Maserati work. I have been happy with their work, but they are expensive. I would say now all of my parts are replaced, or refinished by StickyRX. (I have extra parts by the way)
For the center console, I bought an extra one from the salvage yard so I could see how it all came apart and the idea was to just send those two parts to StickyRX. But when I called for an estimate they told me they have a backlog, so I decided to try it myself since I really had an extra set should I not be happy with the finish. I would say I'm 89.5% happy with the results. The take away is, you don't have to remove the center console, or the side trim to take these two parts off. I used lacquer thinner and acetone to remove the sticky layer. I sanded the parts, cleaned the parts and put on a primer. I also tried the adhesion promoter for plastic and that didn't work good, I got cracky lines in the finish. I used flat black and I used a matte clear coat. I put about 4 coats of black and 4 coats of clear on sanding with 1500 grit between coats. I sanded a little more aggressively if I got a fiber or hair in the paint. Here are some pictures of the salvaged console. The trim piece has to come up in the back and slide out toward the rear of the car because the front has two pencil thick tabs.

How long have you had them installed and how are they holding up?

Nearly a year and they've been just fine. The panels come with double stick tape pre-applied to the adhesion side and they're pretty easy to align up on the console parts. I did heat them up a little bit with a heating gun to make sure that this tape was nice and sticky as I pressed down on it so that I made sure they would never come up and so far so good.

I've done all the carbon fiber overlays as the surfaces wore down.

Here's a photo of the application, pardon the dust.
