Default Color Change from Stratus Gray to Carbon Red

I decided to change the color to make the lines and black accents pop. Thirteen coats of Proline paint later here are the results.

Nice paint job. Did you consider wrapping it? Probably would've looked identical.

This paint actually removes easier than wrap and no seams is a big bonus.

It's plastidip. It's pretty advanced now and you can do some pretty wild stuff with it.

Here is a short clip of peeling the red proline paint off the side skirt to expose the gloss black. It peels off in nice big sheets.

I included a photo in case the clip does not work.

Is it legal in CA? I know the PD would not ship to California.

Looks really nice. You going to leave your calipers red?

I don't believe they will ship to CA either. There is a list of 4 to 5 states they won't ship to printed on the label.

I still need to retint the tails, but have not decided on the calipers.

I saw you today pulling onto Bruce B Downs from Highwoods Preserve. Your stance looks good! No scraping?

I was over there for lunch. Hopefully you weren’t watching me merge onto 75 North too. I think my spoiler deployed too soon. The ride height is perfect. I have not had any issues except for some extreme speed tables on the USF campus.

I was at light to turn left onto Highwoods Preserve in a white X5. My wife and I were headed to lunch in that shopping center on the corner. I'm thinking about lowering, but I go downtown a lot and think that could be a problem with the rough roads.

Those roads aren’t too bad. The only thing I have scrapped is the sacrificial chin spoiler. I have the H&R springs which is a more aggressive drop. If you are really concerned go with the VAP springs.
