Those dastardly unintended consequences!

I am not really a fan of the shape of the iPace. It isnt ugly, but it doesnt attract me, and that is why we have just bought a new XE which should take us another 3 or 4 years I suppose. I am really looking forward to seeing what the new XJ looks like, and Callum mentioned something "really special" coming up which has piqued my interest as well, but at the moment it is pretty hard looking past what I drive - steering, noise, gears, and looks first for me, speed really comes a distant fifth. The electrics lose gears, noise, handling, and looks, IMO.
Okay, I have got to remind you I am *NOT* an EV enthusiast. A friend had offhandedly mentioned this car, and I forgot to look it up.

The World's Fastest Consumer Car.
The specs on the Tesla $200K roadster are absolutely insane.
That modeled version isn't as compelling as an earlier version, but still I laughed out loud.

Agreed it is crazy fast and insane numbers. But once you have dragged everyone off in the neighborhood and embarrassed them, I think it would be a pretty boring car without noise and gears. Like slot car racing, you think it's gonna be awesome and it gets tired after 3 minutes.

Range 620 miles.
In yer dreams!
Use all of the 10,000 torques (!!!) for more than a few seconds and that range drops to "Geez I hope I can find a charging point PDQ!"
