Default Tire question (2016 F-Type R)

I'm nearing three years into ownership of my 2016 F-Type R. And, without surprise, I'm nearing the dreaded buy-four-new-tires phase. I still have the OEM tires all around, with about 12,000 total miles, but the rears are getting pretty greasy. The treadbar is apparent but not yet flush. Probably 500 miles remaining at best.

That said, I used to be on top of the tires that our Forum favored. I didn't need them now. Now, I do. With that, would you be willing to share with me your favorite replacements for OEM? I'm mainly a daily driver. No track time.

Thanks!

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ("MPS4S"), hands down
Michelin Pilot Super Sport ("MPSS"), probably just as good for many of us

+1

I have PS4S on my R and the MPSS on previous vehicle and these tires are awesome. The PS4S really improved handling over the dreaded P-Zero.

I ditched near new Pzero PZ4 tyres for PS4S and the improvement is very noticeable in wet and cold weather, can actually push the car hard in the wet without fear.

The OEM P-Zero tires don't do well in the wet and/or cold. They lose traction.

This post is dedicated to the guy who said if he sees one more post about the obvious - that the Pzeros suck - he was going to lose it.

+4 or is that 5 or 6?

Wow the fitment of the Michelin PS4S transforms the vehicle! My P Zeros were verging on dangerous, when I was contemplating the Michelins I was a little sceptical, how good can they be? In reality how much difference can they make?

The answers, they are excellent and make a world of difference and yet they are not Jaguar approved, go figure.
