They actually reached out to me and asked me to test it. It’s just now going into production.

 

Wild guess, perhaps those cone filters were a bit over oiled and hosed the MAF sensor. Here's a link to someone w a bad MAF causing rpm limit issues:

Try cleaning them up before trying the stock intake again.

 

Thank for sharing,. I too was wondering about the mythical lower intakes. Do you happen to know what they sell for?

 

Chris from VAP sent me a batch of 5 different test tunes. Long story short it’s a tune issue. It is NOT a Mina Gallery lower intake or upper intake tube issue.

Call Mina Gallery and speak with Chris if you want to order the new lower intake...definitely worth it. Also it’s WAY easier to remove the front bumper to have them installed. I’ll post some pictures below. I also bought K&N pre filter wraps just to be safe.

I’m happy VAP was able to figure it out, Chris was on Holiday so I’ll speak to him more today or this week and I’ll keep you all posted.

call Chris at Mina and tell him you want the new f-type lower intake kit. Might as well get the tubes too ;-) so much supercharger noise! Love it.

 

Don't rub it in...I would have a system tomorrow, but I can't stand having to pay at least 20% customs fee for doing absolutely diddly-sqwat!
