Wait, Canadian cars have 5 yrs warranty and not 4? If so, this is news to me. I thought it was 4.

 

It is 4 you are right. Canada gets screwed yet again.

 

These are superb engines...just the plastic pipes stink. And there is a fix out there.

Did it and changed belts, thermo, w pump, etc., etc, s/c stuff, fluids, etc.

If you want to have some real fun, look up bore scoring on Porsches.....not if but when.....the very latest ones may be ok, but who knows. Our cars are by comparison rock solid.

Plus our suspension has to pass the same toughness test as Land Rover SUV's.....wheels and suspension are super tough and given the roads now, that is a good thing.

 

Not as much as the UK - we only get 3 years.

 

That sucks, especially since Jag is British.

 

Got the car back, feels great. These were the repairs (they ended up replacing a few other things just to be on the safe side since under warranty)

Wonder how much it would have cost me with no warranty...
