Default Lister 666HP F-Type SVR and aftermarket parts coming

HI there

Well reading this just now has made me smile, seems we might have a new tuner and after market specialist on hand who can offer truly the best, consider they are tied in with Jaguar, manufacturer and develop cars and are selling 99 modified SVR's in the Lister 666HP specification:
https://www.pistonheads.com/news/gen...-thunder/38483

https://www.lister.com/

Note to see they claim the 666HP is via a different intake, dual SC pulley (lower & upper), uprated intercoolers which sounds very promising indeed, the car or the parts won't be cheap though!
Also really interested to read they claim 145lbs lighter than an SVR though, if that is 145lbs lighter than an SVR with ceramics and the carbon options, then even more impressive.

I've already contacted them about when they will be offering after market parts and if they will also offer tuning solutions.

Fingers crossed and boy is it a mean looking car in black with the green highlights.

Watch this space.

Some might think it is a slightly detuned version of the prototype with 675 HP, but it's not.
It's just that the original 675 was really PS which is often incorrectly referred to as HP.
675 PS converts to 666 HP.
Same deal with the F-Type R, quoted as 550 PS = 542 HP not 550 HP.

Which other mods will be needed to "usefully" put that extra power down on the pavement? Tires, suspension, etc. may need some upgrading as well.

The power kit is £9995 +VAT and if you want them to warranty it is a further £2995 +VAT.

Not ask for the finer details but the 666HP is done by them with uprated intercoolers, induction kit they say (not sure if they just mean panel filters), dual pullies and their own tuning, again need to get finer details if they are doing the mapping themselves or are working with SVO or Viezu on the mapping side.
It is expensive but I guess for those who want a warrantied package that truly out performs then that is your answer.

I shall also ask about the 700lb/ft as that is a dramatic increase over anyone else, also be interested if they make updates to the gearbox to handle it.

Very interesting indeed, although a bit pricey at the same time. Wonder if it would even be available in the USA? Hopefully a Lister rep will share details with this forum soon!

The 8HP70 gearbox is rated to 700Nm maximum

700 ft lbs equals 950 Nm which is way over limit.
ZF do have an 8HP90 and 8HP95 That are rated to 1000Nm
