That's gotta be a Quicksilver exhaust. The OEM doesn't sound that raspy, but rather a bit more resonant.

It's really hard to gauge how it would sound in person, microphone sensitivity being pretty variable. Still, I'd put that into the "obnoxious" range. Nothing personal, but it's not for me.

Yep, obnoxious. I reckon my switchable OEM is just right, quiet enough but still satisfying when you want it to be and loud and resonant when you want it to be without being silly. That's silly. Oh and illegal here. If you pulled up,beside a cop in that here, you would be pulled over Instantly, fined and given a defect order which would require you to bring the car to an inspection station repaired.

The moment an exhaust becomes loud enough to set off car alarms on a street is the exact moment the driver stops being hypothetically a jerk and starts being demonstrably a jerk

That sounds feaking terrible ! If that came down my street doing that in the middle of the night - I'd say some people would throw bricks at it .
He needs to take it back to the exhaust shop and have it repaired .
Damn terrible sound !! Very obnoxious .

there was a guy who created a 5 year mystery in San Francisco because he hooked up a train horn to his car and drove around the avenues by Golden Gate Park, in the middle of the night, toot tooting. People were nearly going insane trying to figure it out.... a new N-Judah horn? Ghost train? LOL

When people figured it out, it was like a town of pitchforks and torches searching for the culprit. Don't think he was ever found.

Driving past that concrete structure accentuates the noise.

That's ridiculous. Sounds like a bad tune.
