Matt Farah Loves the F-Type Coupe R (video)
- although I completely agree with you - at least you have tunnels! Here in the Great State of Maine all I have here are trees. Acres and acres and acres of trees (17.7 million acres to be exact)..which, from time to time and if surrounded by them sufficiently, does make for a pretty good "sounding" board. I want a tunnel!!!

Oh yeah my friend? I've lived here for the last 17 years and I cannot recall the last time (or the first) I went over a covered bridge. Maybe in a novel I've read.
I look for anything - any structure - which would provide me with the aural pleasures which other "tunnel dwellers" speak of. Closest I can come is my parking garage...not terrible but hardly a flat straight tunnel!
Lastly, and now that I think about it...when's the last time you went through a covered bridge? Any I've ever gone through would not only take me 1 second to drive through but have you ever seen a covered bridge with anything better than logs for surface?
Get your car, drive up here, abd I promise I'll find that damned bridge!

As I mentioned above, I do park in a garage - on the third floor (next to other cars who "care") - and while it's the closest I'm gonna come to a tunnel, the road is not only a bit bumpy but I don't really have enough room for a straight, or should I say strafe, run. It's ok, but it's not a tunnel.

There are some serious tunnels in downtown Boston, but my car has never been there. It's definitely not the right car for picking someone up at the airport! Closest I've come is wide overpasses - one expressway crossing another, for example.
Right! I've just not had the opportunity to drive my F-Type into Boston, but plan to (before too long). Not to worry...not only am I used to driving anything and everything anywhere in the world - including driving through locust - but I used to drive [my dad's] NYC taxi while going to college. Driving into Boston, or picking someone up at Logan, isn't going to be a problem. Parking next to an a$$-hole is another matter entirely.

Until I see (and hear; and with "proper" sound quality) a clip of your F-Type in the tunnel of which you speak...I do not believe you.
Allow me to suggest - and much better than either the Lincoln or Holland tunnels - the excellent, and quite long, Brooklyn Battery tunnel? Trust me Lance.
but Matt F is spot on in the acoustic delight of the F-Type. It really makes the car. I find myself driving around in SF in 2nd gear (when for fuel purposes I should be in 4th) just for the heck of it.
Done deal! See ya in August.
Excellent! Perhaps we might be able to entice a few New England F-Typers to join us on a fun and fast romp through the Great State of Maine?

It's the "Devil's Slide" tunnel in Pacifica, CA, about 15 mins south of San Francisco. Been trying to work the tunnel into one of our drives...imagine 10+ F-Types blasting through that tunnel
