Default New JLR dealership coming to Austin!

Looks like Park Place JLR will be opening in North Austin in the next few months - finally JLR Austin gets some competition....once they are no longer the only game in town, maybe they will wake up....

Anybody already using a PP facility care to share an opinion on their service ?

That is phenomenal news for folks living in Austin. The current dealership is god awful and apparently they cannot handle their current workload and provide proper customer service at the same time. Props to Jaguar North American for letting Park Place open up a new franchise. I know that dealerships usually get domain over a certain territory.

Competition is always healthy. I wish a new dealership would open near me. The service department at my dealer sucks.

+1. The same dealer has bought out the next closest dealer, so no where to go unless I drive to SD or LA.

Ya, There service department sucks. No customer service at all. I choose to do my own oil change and air filter replacement than deal with these knuckle heads. I have essential tremors, so it takes me twice as long to get the work done as it did in my younger days. But still worth the time and effort as not to have to deal with their BS. When I saw that they had bought out the Riverside dealer it was a sad day indeed.
I ordered a new F-Type from them, when it came in they wanted full sticker and would not budge. So I took my money elsewhere. This is separate from the poor customer service I experienced with the service department.
