Default Suddenly no more Crackles! No software update or service

So, long story short. I have a 2015 F TYPE S Coupe with Active exhaust system. It was loud and Crackles all the time, until suddenly one day recently it stops, I didn't do anything to it in between, no software update, no service at all. 3-4000 rpm used to be the sweet spot, but not I get 2 pops with muted sound, not even loud... I drive on sports mode all the time, so I know the normal Crackles sound like and this is definitely not it.

Then, car is still under warranty and all, so I took it to the dealer and service adviser check it and said since it still crackles and no check engine light is not on, they can't do nothing about it and then get a mechanic to drive the car with me and just say that V6 is not as loud as V8, this is normal and that's it.

Then I lift the car by myself and try to see it from underneath to see if I press the Active exhaust button, the valve thing is gonna move to open, then nothing happens.....I don't know if they are not supposed to when the car is not running or its actually stuck something. Here is a Pic that shows the part I was looking at with no motion when I press the button.

I did read the post regarding to this but most of them are relate to the K309 and all that which I didn't do none of the service of update.

Anyone my knows the problem or have suggestions please shoot!

Switching active exhaust to loud mode still doesn't open the valves 100% of the time. You could try pulling fuse F43 under the passenger footwell - this will power down the active exhaust vacuum pump, which should result in the valves being open 100% of the time (that's how I'm currently running.) Here's more info on active exhaust...

Joe ****, pull the vacuum tube from the dash pot, plug it and put a cap on the dash pot tube. Do this for both sides and see what the results are.

the valve is open at idle i believe even when the button is off...and the pops are a result of the fuel dump after ignition, have you had the O2 sensor recall done? i believe that has caused less pops in other f-types.

I never fully regained pops after O2 recall, I don't even get startup pops. However, I recently was doing intake cleaning and car was running rich. Briefly, pops and cracks were back in full glory. So lack of pops is connected with running slightly leaner, whatever reason might be.

I had the same issue with my 2016 F-Type R. I diagnosed the issue myself and realized that the exhaust valves had seized closed. The technician confirmed that it was indeed something wrong with the valves (vacuum lines and pump were working perfectly) so they replaced the back half of my exhaust (catalytic converter to tips).

Don't the baffles being open at higher keep the exhaust system cooler? I had read somewhere that was a design point.

When my V6S stopped it turned out to be a disconnected line. Not the model for the update anyway.
