Default Speedometer Height

Hi guys,

I recently acquired a Type-S AWD which I absolutely love. I'm 6'4 and with my seat positioned all the way back, and as low as it will go, the speedo and tach are blocked by the steering wheel. I can only see it if I raise the wheel to a ridiculously crazy height, which is both uncomfortable and defeats the purpose of a d-ring wheel. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone install an external OBD based gauge?

Use the digital speedometer. I usually forget I even have an analog.

I have a similar issue. I'm only 6' but I like the wheel low so it's hard to see the digital or the analog dials. I have a vent mount for my iPhone and a free GPS speedometer app that displays MPH in nice big numbers. It's dead on accurate, or I should say identical to the digital Ftype display.

There’s an analog speedometer? ;-)

I also only use the digital Speedo. With the seat and wheel in the “right” position for me I can’t see the analog speedo properly.
No problem I like the digital display.

I'm with the others who have spoken up. The analog speedometer is useless due to steering wheel position. Digital works fine for me.
