That's fantastic. lol

I'm a little more insecure than some of the other gents, and was sure I would be "judged" when I got this. It's quite out of character for me (whatever that loaded statement means). I remember one neighbor said "I love when good things happen to good people". But in general, everyone seems to love this car... it makes other people happy.

Anyways, *you* deserve it.

another 24 year old owner here.
I've dropped out of college, twice. Just goes to show that work ethic is still a real component of success! I'm definitely proud to own an F-type but when I go out in public, I always assume people are judging me because of my age. Am I being paranoid?

It's a lot of car for a 16 year old. Please be careful.

That being said, at 17, I had a C32 AMG with over 400 bhp and never managed to get into any trouble so I know that there are young folks out there capable of taming their urge to put the pedal to the metal.

I agree, My previous car was a 400 WHP RWD Infiniti Q50, and never got in much trouble, one citation for improper lane change :/, I love having fun with it and pushing it sometimes but its all about the right time and place, and know what your limits are and drive 25% less then that. lost about 4 friends in car accidents in the last year and a half, one 106mph Tesla crash, that one was pretty well known around the Florida Area and another leaving a car meet in a Challenger. But I do agree its a lot of car and Im very happy I've moved to a car with AWD, I love RWD but I went through about 5 sets of rear tires in 1 year of ownership, not cheap.

Now you’ll go through 2.5 sets all around in 1 year. ;)

I was 24 when I bought mine, now I'm almost 26. I sold my F Type, but now own a 5.0 XJL Supercharged. Pretty sure I'm the youngest owner of that marque ;P.

I thought I would be the oldest with 62 - glad to see I am not :icon_dance-twist:

26 and an XJL? Yeah, most definitely the youngest in that crowd. Can I ask what about the XJL appealed to you?

Same question here.
At 65 years, I m still too young for an XJL to appeal to me.

Sure. I like the additional space, cruisability and the ability to reach tuned 610 hp was what did it to me. Bit of a super sport limo feel but it’s worth it for the surprised looks I get when people hear it off the line. It’s faster than my V6, and still pops with stock exhaust. Nothing like the F type of course, but still! I loved the attention I got in the F Type but the XJ is still very much set up for the driver, plus 4 way ac and trays in the back etc.

here is mine. I found a 2012, with every factory option, for about less than a third of MSRP and 30k miles. (Plus warranty!)

A nice eclectic age group. I'm 30 and don't envy the insurance premiums of you guys under 25.

Unoplop 12-04-2018 08:27 AM

31 here. Got the car this year.

I'm 59.9 and my dear wife bought our 2016 S coupe (CPO) for me as a retirement present just over a year ago. It's a huge change from what I've had before and more fun than I ever imagined. Kudos to the many of you that prove there's no lower or upper limit to the age at which the F-Type can be driven and appreciated!

60 year old here with a 23 year old brain that is wondering what the hell happened.

My family has had an XJ since 2012. I was 19 when we got it. Have been driving it since.

Amen to that. Some mornings I look in the mirror and think, "Hey, it's my Dad!"
