Long shot, but does anyone know what the panatone color codes are for the red and green colors of the f type emblem (R or S) ?

The Italian in you is showing Vince! It's PANTONE you're seeking, not PANATONE which is a delicious Italian bread especially popular around Christmas.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I would say you'll either have to eyeball it, or you'll pay someone who says "yeah I have those" and they will just eyeball it and walk off with your $. But I could be wrong.

Speaking of which.... Yeah I have those...

As I am in the middle of fabricating a new carbon wheel and have a BBK in need of color coating:

Bumping an old thread to see if, three years later, you or someone else may have found the answer: any dice?

I'm about to give up on my attempts at swatch-matching and just paint the badges with the same green color that I do my brakes and wheel centerline.

Thanks

No, I never did find any matching colors codes. I ordered a bunch of different film wrap samples, but didn't find any exact matches. I was trying to match the Jaguar red/green logo.

My car is a British Design Edition. That was available in three colors: all the colors of the Union Jack. Mine is red, specifically "Caldera Red" . Specifications for the Union Jack requires the red to be Pantone 186 C.

See Pantone 186-C

Pantone CMS system is developed for print industry, for paints it is used RAL system, and many others. You can buy Pantone/RAL swatches and try to match it side-by-side, but ink on paper is very different than paint on non-porous material.
Also, you have to do it under certain lighting conditions (daylight for easy job, or under certified lamp for a precise job).

This thread was more fun looking for a panettone. May I recommend chocolate and pear?
