Default Red or Blue, which looks the best

Contemplating an F-type R Dynamic, currently i have a black xkr, so no black. The 2 choices i have is the ultra blue or caldera red and don't want to go any other color. Any views welcome, pictures too if you want.

Either is really nice. My slight preference is red (only because a lot of cars have come out in the blue lately) but I'd have either. I have IRR, and I get a lot of comments that red suits the car, even from other f type and sports car owners.

Hmmm, where have I seen these before? (That's actually Salsa, which is very slightly 'warmer' than Caldera, but very close.) They're both outstanding colors, IMO. Then again, I think the F-type looks great in all the colors I've seen, which is a lot.

Love the Red but think the eye is drawn more to the blue, i'm with Bruce on that there is a lot of blue cars out there now and it is a popular choice, will it just be a passing thing, whereas the red is long lasting.

The blue is crazy cool, just be sure to get it with black pack and dark wheels and it will be insanely good looking. Never owned red, reminds me of the guy in the red ferrari trying to compensate for some deficiency...

While I love red, there is just something about that BLUE.

I resemble that comment!

Pair my "compensate for my deficiencies red" with some potentially obnoxious plates...

But the blue is a lovely colour, I particularly liked it in the XFR-S and XKR-S.

I have had red cars and always liked it. But the new blues are great, just ask yourself if it will get old after a year or so.

In all honesty I am kinda bummed that it is now a 'standard' color!

I love my Salsa, but that Ultra Blue is just as nice. I agree that black pack on either is a must.

If it really came down to it though I'd probably go Caldera Red. The blue is gorgeous, however it doesn't have the staying power - you may get tired of it. But hey, that is why Wraps were invented.

I know IRR is not a choice anymore, and I have not seen "the latest" red in person. I have seen the blue, and think it looks great. However I would have chosen "my" color again:

Thanks guys the pics look amazing, keep them coming. Black wheels seem to suit the blue better.
On another matter , the blade type spoiler for the rear is available as an option. When fitted does this disable the original spoiler from lifting or does it still go up and down with the blade type on.

The "blade" spoiler is specifically for the SVR. The top moves while the uprights and trunk are fixed:

Jag dealer in Houston told me the Ultra Blue is a hard sell, especially used. It is a fad color.

The red, can't go wrong.

but it is you that must make the choice.

Good luck!

Different spoiler completely, if you go into build you own on the jag web page you get the option to add spoiler, the pic shows the option, this is the one im refering too. Does it move or is fixed.
