Software Update Guide?
Hi all
I have a 2016 V6S that I don't believe has the software update (anyone know how to check?). But I am trying to fix the bluetooth connection dropouts... Is it possible to do the software update myself? Or do I have to go to the retailer? Is it also possible to get the update without affecting the engine / exhaust note? TIA |
Software update shouldnt affect BT connectivity, and yes you have to go to the retailer.
I THINK the software is a package, and if you opt to get it, it will also affect the exhaust note. IF its needed, you can always hit up VAP for a tune and opt for no performance/only sound editing. |

However, I can't verify whether this exists. Considering yours is 2015, have you done the software update? |

Thanks Nodnarb, supposedly there's a software update that is for the infotainment system specifically.

Note you can't buy from that site, you need a distributor. The most popular on this forum, by far, is Unique Auto Developments: https://unique-ad.co.uk/product-category/carplay-kits/
