Would have certainly considered that color had it been available for my XE. I found Loire too dark for my tastes.

In 2008 I bought an XF in azure blue-----still my favorite blue on a jag. I would buy that color again in a heartbeat-----but for some reason they only had it for a few years.

My Carpathian (I know, "Storm") Grey XJ R-Sport arrived several days ago!!----I would have posted this sooner, but I was too busy driving (and loving) it!!The color changes from almost black to dark grey to a lighter(not light) grey with lots of metallics.There may be more color changes than what I have seen thus far-----but I love the "surprises"! I am SO glad I went with Carpathian-----quite unique----and the ivory seats and mineral grey dash are perfect with it! I am one happy Jag owner!!!

I am so glad to be a part of this forum----having only seen Carpathian Grey on a (very beautiful) F-Type in the showroom had me ordering Carpathian for my new XJ R-Sport. The pictures/comments in the forum told me I made the right choice. Seeing my new car "live", as an owner, completely blew my mind!! Thanks to all for the information/pictures/advice----a great car and a great forum!!
