Default SVR vs F Type V8S

So I'm about getting a used blue SVR that is local to me. I had a 2014 V8S my wife and I really loved. I'd like to get opinions on the driving dynamics of these two cars if you have owned both of them. I am also considering a Mercedes Benz AMG GT or a reproduction 1965 Shelby cobra.

Buy 'em both, the F as a DD and the Cobra replica for sunny days only.

If you could keep the V8SUV and get the Cobra, that would be the best scenario. I ended up getting a 71 stingray before I got the Jag. I would part with the jag before the vette once the rebuild is done, IF I had to. For now, the plan is to drive em both 😉

the jag is gorgeous, but so is the cobra. And those factory five kits seem to really hold their value.

Then I would say it depends on the ammount of use you will be putting on the car. And if you could be without all the creature comforts that the jag has to offer, the. Go with the Cobra. Just my .02 cents.

Exactly the reason I have both.
Cobra is totally raw, a brute, true 1965 driving feel. Love it. The Jag is also like muscle car but in a Hugo Boss suit. Much more comfortable on longer drives and much more polished/refined obviously.
Best of both worlds!

My wife went for a ride in my Pantera last Sunday, for the first time in the 15 years I've owned it, and she won't do it again. She couldn't stand the glorious loudness of the engine. I'm sure the Cobra is not much better in that regard. Two cars is the answer, daily driver and weekend barnstormer.

And now the VR46 username makes sense.

The chances of keeping the Cobra in an eventual divorce settlement are greater, therefore the Cobra wins.

You're married to a Brazilian AND you have a girlfriend!? Better sleep with one eye open.

Ah, women's logic - kill you, then divorce you. Pointless.

So I just sold my cobra, great car but truly only sunny days and not comfortable at all. Also, it garners more attention than I cared for. A bit of a panty dropper everywhere you went but also in a bad way as people including my gf at the time got the snake bite i.e. the burn you get exiting the vehicle. All in all great car if you’re going to use it 20 times a year only on sunny days.

I'll rather have one of these than a Cobra:
