Symposer fault code -- workaround?
Hi all-
I am currently replacing my plastic cooling pipes and doing the associated shipwright's disease stuff, S/C is out with all clips and tabs miraculously intact (and no bolts rusted!!); I am strongly contemplating deleting the symposer. I am deeply grateful to those who have posted detailed writeups and videos about this procedure, you deserve a special place in heaven. What I cannot find is much about the code that is thrown when the symposer connection is left to dangle, whether it causes any problem down the road, or if there is some resistor-based bodge that can be fabricated to fool the computer. I hope someone can fill me in. Thanks in advance. |
I left the solenoid in place when I removed everything else, so the system is happy. It's small, so isn't really noticeable.

Thanks, will probably do that, seems easy enough to amputate. Pipes REALLY needed doing, the Y-pipe snapped the minute the bolts came out, it was about to let go.

As others, I just left the solenoid in place and capped the "output".
