Thump in Driver Seat
Hey Guys! New owner of a 2016 Jaguar F-Type R here. Love the car, but I have a weird issue in the driver's seat I could use advice on. Occasionally when I accelerate, decelerate, or go up/down hills, I'll feel a thump in the upper right shoulder area of the driver's seat. It's almost like there is an object inside the seat, that is only attached at the bottom, that will pivot forward and hit against the seat. I've read the below thread, but am not sure if it's the exact issue as mine happens at low speeds and isn't that audible beyond a dull thud. Anyone have any ideas for what the try first? Thanks in advance!

Check that the seat bolts are securely screwed in, as seat made have been removed before and not put back properly. Any looseness will vibrate up the chair frame giving you a clunk

I have same issue in a 2019 R driver seat. I honestly think it has broken as it buckles if that makes sense when it makes that noise on acceleration which seems to happen frequently, the acceleration that is and the buckling. I can sit in the seat and recreate the sound by just pushing my back into the seat its high up or at least mid seat height so do not believe mine is how it is bolted to floor
