Default Tire Pressure Showing 0 PSI After Fill

I got a dash message that my right front tire pressure was low. 29 PSI.
So I put air in the tire, bringing it up to 36 PSI. Now it's showing 0 PSI on the dash.
Did I somehow cook my TPMS sensor when putting air in the tire? Is there anything else I should check?

I've had that happen before. Usually it goes away after the car retakes the reading. I haven't had a TPMS go bad yet.

Default Battery time for the TPMS.?

The TPMS have batteries in them and supposedly they may last 5-7 years. Yours is a 2015? So those batteries are 10 years old. This may be the issue.

Funny thing is - I've driven it a couple times since I put air in it and the weird reading persisted.
But today, after posting, I drove it a short distance, and it corrected. So I guess that's the solution - tell people you are having a problem and it will immediately go away.

Thanks!

I got around 10 years from mine. I think that’s usually what I see for TPMS battery lifetime.
