Well according to Swedish law he is obliged to. It hasn't happened yet though, so we’ll see. I sincerely hope to amaze you.

This is relatively scary scenario and I honestly feel really bad for you. You assume these carfax is accurate only to find it has been wrecked and now you are stuck with car. Definitely hope the dealer you got it from recognizes and takes it back. $5000 is hefty price in mods for me and agree that you should keep it for your next F-Type.

I thought Carfax was US only? OP is in Sweden.

The dealer took it back. I could choose between getting my money back or another F-Type and some cash inbetween. I chose the latter, so now I have an IRR Coupe instead.

Thanks! Just want to clarify - he exchanged it for another one of the same model year, so I didn't get a brand new one. It's another 2015, but in very good condition.

Even within the US, Carfax is FAR from infallible. There are MANY things that would never get reported to them, yet people treat it as a be-all, end-all to the health of a used vehicle.
