The article barely mentions Jaguar which I guess is to be expected. LR really is the dominant side of the house. Which is fine with me as long as it keeps the doors open. But I have Zero interest in an SUV. I expect Jaguar will sell its Pace cars succcessfully, a few sedans here and there, and the odd sports car. I have my F which will keep me happy for quite a while.
The Q1 loss is troubling. That should not be happening.
i am looking forward to seeing a base wagon, the S is too expensive. I am hoping that if JLR is not spending on new Jag models they will have some money to get the tech side up to speed.

No F-Type is naturally aspirated. Except for the turbo charged 4 cylinder, they are all supercharged.

Sorry, unhingd, supercharged was what I meant (as opposed to turbo). I currently drive a 2007 Audi S6 with a 5.2l naturally-aspirated V10 engine (a derivation of the engines found in the Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Gallardo) and while it is a heavy, family car, flooring the pedal gives me immediate pleasure. I have tried a lot of turbo cars (various Porsches, the BMW M4, the new Audi RS5 etc.) and none gave me the same immediate, linear reaction as the F Type. Can’t wait for delivery time!

anybody would think of a V8 anymore if the I6 gets the UniAir hydraulic-electric valve drive and a 1200-5000rpm torque of 1000nm plus the electric motor...
Rough estimate : 0-60mph under 2 secs...

From what I know, the new platform will be used for the new F-Type and a 2+2 , hybrid I6, with chargers when required.. .. I don't know if [exept for the sound],

, you know how to enjoy life.. .. would cost here in the range of € 400.000 .. mostly taxes ..For that I hate the welfare state.. .. but I like it for having few homeless on this side of the pond..

+1. Driving an electric or hybrid is about as exciting as driving around on a sewing machine even if it does 0-6o in 2s. No drama! The Tesla S and Roadster are not nearly as exciting as the F-Type.
