Default VAP's pops, burbles and bang

I just recently got the VAP Tune and pulley and it performs like a completely different car... amazing. I got the pops, burble and bang tuning feature and it's pretty cool but it's excessive and can be annoying.

I usually drive around 80-85 mph (2200-2400 RPM) and when I back off the gas, the PBB seems to stay on until it drops below 2000 RPMs. I would rather the threshold be 2500 - 3000 RPM so it's not constantly PBB'ing when I'm on the highway and I take my foot of the accelerator.

Has anyone either requested this (is it even possible) and/or has any requested it be taking out of their tune?

I have a V6S with the VAP tune with pulley as well but a few years ago so I got one of the early tunes when AFAIK there was no option to ask for more or less PBB.
When cruising on the highway/freeway at 70 - 80 mph I turn the exhaust down/off using the button and that stops not just the PBB but the drone as well, maybe that will work for you.

Thanks for the response. I did turn off the active exhaust but the PBB occurs in the cat so it's still kind of loud. I forgot to mention that this does damage the Cat and because it happens so often, I'm afraid that I'll burn through this Cat in a week (a joke, kind of). If it happened less frequently with a higher RPM threshold, it would be reasonable to keep the PBB.

Just ask Velocity to remove the additional overruns.

I was actually asking if anyone has had theirs adjusted to 2500-3000 rpm or had it removed. It’s obvious that I could ask them to remove it.

That may or may not be possible. Ask Velocity.
