Vibrations in steering wheel
Thanks both.
Definitely not lane departure, happens all the time on any kind of road/roads with no lines in the countryside etc!
Not sure how many f type owners carry a spare set of wheels but will ask around.
Any other bright suggestions welcome too. Thanks, it is appreciated

A slightly bent front wheel can cause that type of vibration.
The better Road Force Balancers (Hunter brand) can measure runout of the tires, rims, and assemblies. Otherwise, if you have access to another pair of fronts, fit them and test.
But, see if its Lane Departure, first. Your previous alignment may have resulted in the steering gear not 'centered', and the electronics are now assuming that you are turning the wheel more than you actually are.

Update on this one.
4 wheel alignment and balancing done again, this time on a Hunter system and the chap talked me through it.
Front left wheel was miles out in terms of camber and toe, more than 2 degrees! took a huge amount of adjustment to get it back in line.
Steering wheel was off-centre
Front left tyre also shagged, probably due to the terrible alignment, risen edges all the way round which indicates it has been overheating.
All 4 wheels rebalanced and most needed 10-30 grams of weight.
Vibration 75% gone now. Will replace front tyres soon and that should sort it.
The above more than likely caused by Mrs.tjp hitting a pothole she hasn’t told me about on our horrible English roads.
thanks for your help everyone, did appreciate it.
