So had a good look at the new Aston today, from the side it looks amazing, rear a lot going on, but the more I looked at it i found it quite nice, rear pipes are far to small, interior is as you would expect lovely styling , the let down is the front, absolutely disgusting, the lights are to small and it looks like one of those basking sharks with its mouth wide open, there’s about 12” of open space behind the grill.
I noticed also the tires are Pirelli sports, but irregular size, rears 295/30/20, fronts 255/40/20, strange profile for the front of 40.

I'm a huge Aston fan, but I have to admit that I simply do not like their last few designs. Too much "in your face". Looks more like a body kit than a classy hypercar.
But again, to each his/her own.

Agree, rear and sides aren't bad, the front end is a disaster - reminds me of a Miata. Hard to see how this is an improvement over the AMG-GT it was derived from....

I concur regarding the Miata front end. I'd personally get the last generation Vantage.

The front end looks like an NFL Defensive Players mouth guard or kickboxer's mouth protector. Don't really care for the car at all.
Although would not kick it out of bed for eating crackers! LOL

It’s hard to imagine what they were thinking with the front end. It definitely looks goofy.

I prefer the look of the dbs superleggara, but I am a fan of this as well. While the front takes some getting used to, the "bumper bar" protruding from the rear is a bit odd, and I really dont understand the purpose of the black lips which around the grille, I like the aggression of this one and I think that the car as a whole makes the previous model vantage look very, very dated. I wouldnt trade my f type for it (though the manual AMR would be tempting if one could ignore the yellow bits), but I would buy one before I went to a benz or another of the usual suspects

Previous Vantage generation was (imho) one of the best auto designs ever. This is just ugly, even the side profile view with the pronounced vent on the front quarter panel looks awful. Simply ugly!

On my 'puter the first pic is just a big black square with some tree tops above it.
I'm guessing it is meant to be a pic of the front end.
Maybe my anti-virus and/or ad blocker software had one look at it and decided it was too hideous to let through?

Front - 6 Side 6 Rear 3

Objectively speaking, the F-type has a more attractive exterior. I would rate the F-type Front 8 Side 7 Rear 9

Agree, with one exception: You misspelled fugly.

'effing Fugly...wouldn't say no if it was a freebee though ;-)

It is a cut and shut job; Miata/Nissan GTR front end, F-Type midships and McLaren and some kind of Hair lipped spoiler back end.

Nice rims though!

I saw a white 2019 Vantage in person and I thought it was pretty sharp. I think the car would be near perfect with better headlights.

For me, I like the car. However, I don't think it looks good in dark colors like the one posted in this thread. I think it looks better with brighter colors. It's out of my price point but I'd rock it if it wasn't.

As a huge Aston fan, I've got to admit, this thing is hideous. The DBS and V12 Vantage were the last beautiful Aston's built.

Isn’t it remarkable how few truly outstandingly beautiful automobiles have been made over time. The Bugatti Atlantic, the Ferrari Lusso, the Jaguar E-type and a few more. There are of course other very meritorious designs. This AM isn’t even in the running

So I like the tail very well. The front could look better. Otherwise a very nice vehicle ...

In the UK we'd call that a Marmite car - people seem to either love or hate it, nothing in between.
