Dear member,
please find below some useful information for you regarding the use of the forum.
This if used correctly, will mean a better forum experience for all.

Tags
These have been in use for a while and some of you may already know of them. For those that don't....These help with the search feature and make all the information much more accessible to all. They also assist in search results in browsers helping to raise our forums profile.

Full access members - when creating a new thread, at the bottom of the post there is a "Tags" box.

Please add in a keyword to that box, so for example if your post is entitled "X type brake pads & discs change" your keyword could be X type, or brake pads, or pads & discs etc


Below, I have included a link showing the "Nav bar"

Within the Nav bar, the black strip above the photo gallery on the homepage there are as follows.....User CP, Photos, FAQ, Community, Calendar, New posts, search, quick links etc etc

The User CP is where all your profile information is stored and can be edited / updated from there. The New posts button is self explanatory and a quick way of seeing "whats new" since you last visited the site.

selecting the "quick links" button opens a drop box where "todays posts" can be accessed........a really quick way of finding out what is the latest and hottest thread / topic.

I have also included a selection of links to the "FAQ" or recently renamed "How to" threads for most model sections.

These can generally be found at the very top of the section and are stickied for ease of searching when needed.
