Headliner issues
After a number of posts on the failure of the headliners on the X150 forum, I volunteered to supply some members with a very inexpensive synthetic suede that resembles the Alcantara with which many of our cars were originally equipped. Having worked in the textile industry for over 40 years, I have access to a very high quality suede substitute that is under $5.00/running yard X 60" width. It comes in about 100 colors and several match up nicely with Jaguar OEM colors. I have sent samples to many X150 members who have contacted me over the past couple of weeks, and have now sent several members yardage for their headliner restoration. One member, Big Otter, posted pictures today of his successful replacement. If I can help any forum member out by supplying samples or yardage, it would be the least I could do to "pay" back for the numerous times other members have helped me out with knowlege, information, or parts.
Thanks, Ted |

A very generous offer. Here's a link to the X150 thread for members who may not usually follow that model forum: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...dliner-204416/ By opening this up to the full forum you are likely to receive enquiries from outside the USA. Is this restriced to the 48 contiguous States? Graham |
Graham,
It doesn't matter to me where I send it, just the shipping may be a bit more, but it's no more effort on my part. Thanks, Ted |
Hi Tberg,
I sent you a pm regarding the headliner material. Thanks! |
Kodyw,
it's packed and going out tomorrow. I will let you know the total after it's sent. Thanks, Ted |
