HELP sat nav software download issue
 

does anyone have the knowledge please regarding phone software[/b] support on a disc: I have read somewhere that the navigation software[/b] update on some models and/or for some years not only updates the maps, but also the infotainment firmware. One of the 'symptoms' apparently is that the leaper has a different colour after the update. would it be possible for the firmware on a 07 / 08 disc to no longer fully support a Motorola GSM phone, which was no longer distributed by this time. as im not getting the phone up on screen but did with my 02 SW disc

Not sure about the firmware other than if you havealready updated firmware, do not go backwards.
If you do it is likely to damage the nav reader.
